School Programs

Students experience the wonderment of a live performance. Students visit the Patricia McBride & Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance, the Belk Theater or the Knight Theater in uptown Charlotte for a daytime educational version of a main-stage production. If you’re not able to come to us, we will come to you with a Lecture Demonstration performance where professional dancers present a 60-minute narrated interactive educational performance. An in-school residency is another opportunity for a Charlotte Ballet teaching artist to spend a day, a week, or a month at your school in a residency program tailored to meet curriculum needs. First Steps & Dance-A-Story are two programs geared to the pre-school age where a teaching artist will visit a pre-school or daycare and children will engage in a fun and nurturing dance experience.
