Colby Foss

Colby began his dance training in Fargo, ND at age 15 with Kathy Gasper and Trollwood Performing Arts School. He attended summer programs on full scholarship with Milwaukee Ballet, Queen City Ballet, Boston Ballet and River North Chicago Dance Company. Colby graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance performance. Since graduating, he has danced professionally at Ballet Nouveau Colorado, which was included on Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” and Wonderbound for seven seasons. Colby has worked with choreographers such as Garrett Ammon, Ma Cong, Mark Godden, Alex Ketley, Maurya Kerr, Danny Pelzig and Kevin Jenkins, Javier de Frutos, Robyn Mineko Williams, Sasha Janes, Myles Thatcher, Filipe Portugal and Helen Pickett. He has also been a principal dancer with the Central City Opera, performed in Sweet and Lucky with Third Rail Projects and The Denver Center for the Performing Arts and performed in the Bessie award-winning production, Then She Fell, in New York City.
